The GPX Battery Converter is a voltage regulator and audio conveter that allows a GPX battery to be used to power any of the Minelab PI series of detectors.
The output voltage is adjustable and can be set from 6v to 8.4v. Once the output voltage has been set it will remain at that constant voltage until the battery is flat.
The GPX Battery Converter features a voltage readout so you can check both the output voltage and battery voltage.
It also features an auto off function if you turn off your detector but forget to turn off the battery converter, it will shut off automatically after approximately 10 minutes, stopping your battery from going flat.
