GP SERIES MODIFICATIONS
GP EXTREME
The first detector to feature DVT (Dual Voltage Technology)
For the GP Extreme we:
Fit our 5 frequency control switch
Enable the extra timing giving you 2 sensitive timings
Fit our channel select switch which allows mono coils to be used in bad ground
Fit our custom front end gain board to allow the detector to be run to the ground conditions
Fit a genuine type 3 pin plug so you can use a handle with the ground balance button
We perform the circuit updates to bring it in line with the GP3000
We also check the detector and perform any minor repairs that are required
GP3000
For the GP3000 we:
Fit our 5 frequency control switch
Enable the extra timing giving you 2 sensitive timings
Fit our channel select switch which allows mono coils to be used in bad ground
Fit our custom front end gain board to allow the detector to be run to the ground conditions
Fit a genuine type 3 pin plug so you can use a handle with the ground balance button
We also check the detector and perform any minor repairs that are required
GP3500
Frequency control.
The GP3500 is fitted with a high quality rotary switch for the frequency control allowing 5 different frequencies to be selected. Just like gold and coils come in all different shapes and sizes, the frequency control allows the detector to be optimized for the coil you have fitted. There are 2 frequencies lower than standard for larger coils, standard frequency, and 2 frequencies higher than standard allowing the detector to be set incrementally to its highest sensitivity.
As part of the mods, we enable a second sensitive timing.

Gain control.
The GP3500 gain control was specifically designed for the GP series detectors. The gain control allows the detector to be adjusted for ground and emi conditions, whichever is worse. By adjusting the gain for the ground you are working you maximize the detectors ability to detect gold missed by others. Our gain control comes with a mark to show where the factory gain is. When you know this, you will detect with confidence!
